We're getting close to the end.  I was watching Mad TV and started going to my happy place, then I kinda jumped and panicked because I didn't know what time it was and I thought I'd missed an entry.  It would suck to get this far and then poop out.  I'm really looking forward to getting in the bed. 

My last post will be at 9am, then all of you guys can stop by and catch up on what you missed.  I was trying to make it entertaining, but with the party, and not really expecting to go, there were some not so exciting moments.  Ah well.  I'll keep it in mind for next year, and make better plans.

Trey has gone to bed, and now it's just me all by myself.  I hope I make it.  I think I can.  Just 9 more entries to go after this.  9, right?  hmmm...

Anyway, the weirdest day I ever had at work. 

I worked at a little restaurant for a while while I was in college.  It was just a small place in a little strip shopping center.  My boss, the chef, was quite insane and I called him the Hungarian Hitler because he screamed all the time. 

So there was this one day where he was all yelling and stuff, and we were both in the kitchen, and I went to do something in the front.  It was about 11am or so, and we had just a couple of customers.  They were 2 ladies that drove the school bus and frequently came in for breakfast after their routes. 

There was a little old lady in a car, outside, who got the gas pedal confused with the brake pedal, and ended up driving through the window of the restaurant.  The 2 ladies that were eating had to dive out of the way, and then suddenly there was a car sitting in the restaurant.  The noise was insane.  It sounded like all of the dishes in the place breaking a million times over.  That's what the boss thought it was.  He thought I knocked over all of his dishes and came out screaming...then he stopped and turned totally white. 

I called 911 which was probably the most surreal phone call I've ever had to make.  This is how it went:

me:  hello, can you please send someone over here, a car just drove through the window (gives address)

911 operator:  Do we need to send an ambulance? 

me:  yeah, go ahead, a lady here has cut her leg, although it doens't look bad we want to be safe.

911 operator:  okay, I'll send someone out.  How will we know which store it is?

me:  It's the one with a CAR IN THE WINDOW! 

I swear to god...they actually asked me that.
